The markets run between 4:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m., and there is an entrance fee of $2. You will be able to find a myriad of different food choices, from Japanese pizza, to South American delicacies, crepes, or even oysters. No matter what your tastes are, there is something for everyone’s taste buds at Brisbane’s Eat Street Markets.
A Visit To Newstead House – The Oldest Surviving Residence in Brisbane
If you are into history, then you can take a short ten-minute taxi ride and explore Newstead House, which is the oldest surviving residence in Brisbane. The house was first built in 1846 before seeing substantial renovations in 1867 and is authentically decorated and furnished in genuine Victorian stylings. It boasts a commanding view of Newstead Park, and is the perfect way to relax before heading back to the Brisbane Cruise Terminal and embarking on your cruise voyage.
Enjoy Some Shopping
You may need to pick up a few bits and pieces before embarking on your journey from Brisbane, and luckily there are plenty of shopping options that are close to the Brisbane Cruise Terminal. Immediately as you come out of the terminal, there is a wide array of shops that are selling things like fashion, healthy and beauty items, homeware, and souvenirs. All these are only a few minutes’ walk away from the port, so you do not have to travel very far.

If you have a lot of time to kill, there is a small cinema complex where you can relax and enjoy a film before you leave port. You will not find a large IMAX screen here as it is a small and intimate theatre, but if you have nothing else to do, it is an excellent way to kill a couple of hours, before setting off on your Cruise from Brisbane.
